General Manager’s Message

Welcome to the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS). Our goal is to serve you in the best way that we can through open communication between you and LADBS. We are committed to ensuring that your construction projects are completed professionally and promptly while ensuring life safety and compliance with the code.

To assist in this goal, we've developed various methods to communicate with you. These include a customer survey and a customer hotline. Your feedback will enable us to better advise, guide, and assist you.

Your project is important to us and we desire your complete satisfaction. Please call our customer hotline at (213) 482‐0056 during normal business hours, which are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday if you are not completely satisfied with our service.
